Kateriin Rikken (b 1983) has studied glass art at The Estonian Academy of Arts and glassblowing and design in Denmark at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. With a background of art and a design her works are versatile and out of comfort zone. She is in constant need of searching new perspectives and self-expression. Currently she is writing her MA thesis at The Estonian Academy of Arts, focusing on functioning mechanisms of applied arts gallery scene.
